Before the router upgrade, I had no issues with the Remote Access feature. I am running the latest version of Plex on Windows 10. I am hard wired in so it has me scratching my head a bit. 6 xCableCreation Internal Mini SAS HD Cable, Mini SAS SFF-8643 to Mini SAS 36Pin SFF-8087 Cable I just upgraded to the Quantum Gateway with Verizon and now my remote access will only work for a few minutes - then stops working.1 xNORCO 4U Rack Mount 24 x Hot-Swappable SATA/SAS 6G Drive Bays Server Rack mount RPC-4224.Corsair Commander Pro to control the fans (see script and code) 3 xNoctua NF-F PWM (120mm) * having noted later in Stux's thread that 1500 RPM is not sufficient to cool the HDDs.2 xNoctua NF-A8 PWM Premium 80mm PC Computer Case Fan.4 x Kingston Value RAM (32GB, DDR4-2400, ECC RDIMM 288).1 x Corsair HX1200 (1200W) - PSU to support 24 HDD + several SSD and PCI cards.1 x Kingston UV400 120GB SSD - boot drive (hit the 3D NAND/TRIM bug with the original WD green selection, failing scrub and showing as corrupted OS files) Decided to go with no mirror and use the config backup script.2 x WD Green 3D NAND (120GB, 2.5") - Boot drives (maybe mess around trying out the thread to put swap here too link).1 x ASUS Z10PA-D8 (LGA 2011-v3, Intel C612 PCH, ATX) - Dual socket MoBo.If everything went well you should be able to access PLEX remotely, if not, I have no idea what the problem is.Aiming to mostly replicate the build from (with some mods, hopefully around about as good as that link) Install both miniupnpd and luci-app-upnp. We’ll also want to install and enable UPnP. In this example my PLEX server has an internal IP of 10.10.10.100. The IP should be the IP address of your PLEX server. You’ll need to add each of the following ports. I prefer using OpenWRT, due to the high level of configurability. In this example my Buffalo router has a LAN IP of 192.168.1.151. The IP should be the IP address of the router which the PLEX server connects to. click Yes to the "are you sure" message.Verizon Router Configuration Port Forwarding I called my ISP, since they NAT IP addresses by default and had them remove NAT. I wouldn't think this would be so hard but I've had no luck with remote access on my plex server running on FreeNas. Enable the Manually specify public port checkbox. I had issues with this in the past and never got it resolved but now I'm having to revisit this task. If needed, toggle the Show Advanced button to ensure the appropriate options are visible. Well, if your Plex server is on your VPN and you are on the VPN at the other end, it should be a simple matter of making sure port 32400 is not firewalled. I use the FIOS AC1750 router from which I run an ethernet connection to a Buffalo WZR-HP-AG300H running OpenWRT to which I have my PLEX server and other internet devices connected. To do so: Open Plex Web App and make sure you’re signed in to your Plex account on the server under Settings > Server > General. In my network I am using a Double-NAT setup with FIOS. In the PLEX Troubleshooting Remote Access they have a small section on setting up for Double-NAT, but don’t really get into how to actually do it.
